Chinese Consulate Package Acceptance Changes
Effective July 20, 2008, the Houston Chinese Consulate no longer accepts FedEx or UPS packages.
The only package delivery they recommend is United States Post Office Express Mail.
They’re also stating it can take up to 15 days to process documents.
You’ll also need to provide a pre-paid USPS Express Mail envelope in order to have your documents returned to you.
The Los Angeles Consulate also abides by these same rules, and it may become policy with all the other Consulates in the near future.
